Musical Theatre Workshop

Discover your talents!

Our musical theatre workshop from 8-10 March will give you an insight into the everyday life of a performer. With the help of professional coaches (dance/vocal/acting) and a subsequent performance, you can live out your artistic streak and unleash previously undiscovered talents.*

The goal

Over the course of two and a half days, three show numbers will be developed and performed in front of a small audience in Europa-Park’s Globe Theatre on the third day of the workshop. The performance will be recorded by a professional film crew. At the end of the workshop, you will receive a recording of your performance.

  • Dance: Developing dynamics, expression and basic technical skills
  • Vocal coaching: Exciting insight into basic vocal and singing techniques
  • Acting: Introduction to acting methods: role work, improvisation, breathing and speaking techniques
Class times
  • Friday, 08.03.2024 from 4pm – 7.30pm
  • Saturday, 09.03.2024 from 10am – 6.30pm
  • Sunday, 10.03.2024 from 10am – 6.30pm
The process

Before the workshop, you will receive an email with all the information you need to prepare for the workshop (lyrics, audio files, etc.). The 3 days consist of intensive lessons and coaching to prepare you for the final performance! You will then show what you are made of at the performance!

Acting & Dance – Daniel Johnson

Stage professional, entertainer, showman – Daniel Johnson is an all-round talent. Since winning a scholarship to the renowned Hamburg Stage School and completing a bachelor’s degree in Popular Music, the 31-year-old has made the stage his home. Whether it is leading roles in musical productions, solo performances or TV appearances on ‘The Voice of Germany’ and ‘Zeig uns deine Stimme’ – the German-British singer is in his element. The Freiburg native has also signed a record deal as a solo artist and is a member of the boy band TEAM5ÜNF, with whom he has already wowed millions of viewers live on TV and reached the top 10 of the German album charts. This is his third time as a coach at the musical theatre workshop.

Vocal Coaching – Valentina Garavini:

Valentina completed a Master of Musical Theatre in Rome and was a musical performer in a musical company in Bologna for two years. In 2017 she moved to Germany, where she worked for three years as a singer for Europa-Park and founded the vocal and piano duo ‘Duo Diamante’. The singer’s repertoire is now multilingual and includes international pop music, jazz, musical theatre and many well-known Italian and French songs. She believes that each workshop is a unique experience for both students and coaches and can’t wait to create a new show.

We look forward to a great workshop weekend with you!
